VINCI Energies Oil & Gas seeks a SURF Material, Welding & NDT Specialist for the Venus project in the United Kingdom. The contractor will manage material selection, corrosion, welding and NDE activities, and provide expert engineering support across SURF tasks at project sites in London area.

Role involves reviewing contractor documentation, ensuring HSE and QA compliance, and coordinating with SURF and other packages. Extensive offshore SURF experience and NDT/Welding expertise are essential.

Qualifikationen

• Master’s degree in engineering with specialization in Materials Science.
• IWE qualification and extensive NDT experience (AUT, Phased Array, TOFD, IWEX).
• At least 10 years in large offshore SURF deep-water projects.
• Good knowledge of relevant codes (DNV) and familiarity with TotalEnergies specs.
• Previous experience with major SURF contractors during project execution.
• BOSIET and willingness to undertake frequent missions.

Aufgaben

• Lead material selection, corrosion, welding and NDE/NDT activities for SURF package during EPCI phases.
• Review, approve and manage all related studies, drawings, specifications and procedures.
• Provide technical support to SURF Manager and liaise with SPS, FPSO and other teams.
• Witness welding operations and oversee qualification of welding personnel and equipment.
• Review PQT and WPS, and manage testing/qualification activities (PQT, PPT, FAT, EFAT, SIT).
• Ensure compliance with project specs, international norms and QA/HSE requirements.
