IoTagroup is seeking a senior SURF engineer to lead material selection, corrosion and welding/NDT activities for offshore pipelines and related facilities in London. You will review technical documentation and ensure compliance with DNV and global standards while coordinating across multi-disciplinary teams.

The role requires a Master's in Engineering with materials focus, ESSA/IWE certification, and 10 years of SURF project experience.

Qualifikationen

• Master's degree in Engineering with materials focus or equivalent.
• ESSA or IWE certification is desirable.
• Extensive offshore SURF project experience preferred.
• Strong knowledge of corrosion, welding, and NDT for subsea systems.

Aufgaben

• Lead and coordinate material selection, corrosion engineering, welding and NDT activities for SURF package.
• Review, approve and manage technical documentation and engineering deliverables.
• Ensure compliance with project specs, DNV codes and international standards.
• Review welding procedures, WPQRs and PQTs as required.
• Provide technical oversight of carbon steel, CRA-lined pipes and duplex SS materials.
• Assess corrosion protection measures and material suitability for operating environment.
• Review detailed deliverables, analyses, deviations and derogation requests.
• Identify risks and constructability issues; propose corrective actions.
• Support FAT/EFAT/SIT testing and witness testing activities.
• Supervise fabrication at contractor yards, including welding, traceability and heat treatment.
• Review special processes (induction bending, pickling, passivation, PWHT).
• Support NDT activities (AUT, PAUT, TOFD) and other inspection methods.
• Monitor contractor progress, quality compliance and timely delivery.
• Coordinate technical interfaces across SURF, SPS, FPSO and umbilical teams.
• Assist during tendering, bid evaluations, contracts and contractor management.
• Ensure HSE, ethics and anti-corruption compliance throughout execution.
• Report issues and risks; contribute to lessons learned and close-out.
