IOTA Group is seeking an experienced SURF Material, Welding & NDT Specialist to support engineering, procurement, fabrication, testing and installation phases of a major offshore project from London. You will ensure technical integrity, compliance with project specs and international standards, and adherence to quality and HSE requirements.

The role covers material selection, welding and NDT oversight, review of WPS/WPQR/PQT, FAT/EFAT/SIT testing, and offshore execution support.

Competenze

Master’s degree in Engineering or related field.
ESSA or IWE qualification is desirable.
Minimum 10 years of experience in major offshore SURF projects.
Strong experience in material selection, corrosion, welding and NDT for subsea systems.
Familiarity with DNV codes and international standards.

Mansioni

Lead material selection, corrosion engineering, welding and NDT within the SURF package.
Review and approve technical docs, specifications, drawings and procedures.
Ensure compliance with project specs, international standards and quality requirements.
Review WPS, WPQR and PQT; approve welding qualifications.
Review NDT procedures, inspection techniques and acceptance criteria.
Provide technical oversight of carbon steel, CRA-lined pipes and duplex stainless steel.
Assess corrosion protection measures and material compatibility for the environment.
Review engineering deliverables, deviations and risk; propose corrective actions.
Support FAT/EFAT, SIT and other testing activities; witness testing.
Coordinate fabrication surveillance and material traceability at contractor yards.
