Job summary

SeaOwl Group in London is seeking an experienced engineer to lead design activities for SURF package, approve material selection, corrosion, welding and NDE/NDT efforts across EPCI phases. You will assist the SURF team and coordinate with Contractor and Supplier documentation.

The role requires 10+ years in deep-water offshore SURF projects, knowledge of DNV codes, and experience with major SURF Contractors. A BOSIET + CA EBS is expected, with international, multi-team collaboration.

Qualifications

• Languages: English.
• NDT experience including AUT, Phased Array, TOFD, IWEX.
• 10+ years in large offshore SURF deep water projects.
• Knowledge of DNv codes and TotalEnergies specs.
• Experience with major SURF contractors during project execution.
• BOSIET + CA EBS.

Responsibilities

• Provide high level support for material selection, corrosion, welding and NDE/NDT during engineering and execution.
• Define, develop, issue and maintain technical documentation related to above activities.
• Review contractor progress and validate documentation to ensure alignment with project specs.
• Witness welding operations, operator qualification and equipment, including acceptance criteria.
• Assess materials and consumables and ensure compliance with QA/QC and H3SE requirements.
• Coordinate interface with SPS/FPSO teams and support project reviews.
