Job summary

Altea Energy is seeking a Senior SURF Subsea Structures Engineer for the Venus Ultra-Deepwater Development. Based in London on a residential assignment, you will supervise subsea structures engineering across the EPSCC lifecycle for a large Namibia offshore program, coordinating with SURF, FPSO, and field operations teams.

Qualifications

• Master's Degree in Engineering, preferably Structural/Mechanical Offshore.
• Minimum 15 years of subsea structures experience on major offshore SURF EPCI projects.
• Fluent English, written and spoken.
• Experience with subsea structures design, fabrication and installation.
• Strong knowledge of FLETs, ILTs, foundations, pipe supports and anchoring.

Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise subsea structures engineering throughout the SURF EPSCC lifecycle.
• Review and approve detailed engineering studies, calculations, drawings and procedures.
• Oversee interfaces with Contractors and Suppliers and ensure compliance with specs and standards.
• Coordinate with SURF Installation, Fabrication, SPS, FPSO and Field Operations teams.
• Identify design deviations, safety concerns and propose optimised solutions.
• Ensure timely delivery of subsea structures in line with project schedules.
