Job summary

Hollybank Trust is seeking a Senior Support Worker for the part-time role in South Kirkby. The post involves leading a team, supporting adults with complex needs and promoting independence while maintaining high standards of care.

We're looking for a caring and motivated Senior Support Worker to join our team. If you're an experienced support worker ready to take the next step, or already working in a senior role and looking for a rewarding new opportunity, we'd love to hear from you.

What you'll be doing

As a Senior Support Worker, you'll lead by example, supporting the day-to-day running of the service while ensuring exceptional standards of care and support. You'll:

• Support adults with all aspects of daily living, personal care and wellbeing.
• Lead, coach and mentor a team of Support Workers.
• Promote choice, independence and dignity at all times.
• Administer and oversee medication in line with policies and procedures.
• Help create engaging activities and community experiences.
• Support the development and review of care plans.
• Ensure accurate record keeping and quality standards are maintained.
• Work collaboratively with families, colleagues and healthcare professionals.

About You

We're looking for someone who is:

• Passionate about supporting adults with complex needs.
• Caring, compassionate and committed to making a difference.
• A confident team player who can lead and motivate others.
• Experienced within a care setting.
• Ideally qualified to NVQ Level 3 in Health & Social Care (or willing to work towards it).
• Organised, reliable and able to work flexibly, including weekends on a rota basis.
