Job summary

Olive Recruit is seeking an experienced Support Worker and Senior Support Worker to join a team supporting individuals with complex needs and behaviours that challenge. This senior role operates within high-acuity care packages, providing hands-on support while guiding colleagues during challenging situations.

You will lead shifts, promote dignity and least restrictive practice, and mentor less experienced staff, ensuring safeguarding and PBS strategies are followed.

Qualifications

• Significant experience supporting individuals with complex needs and behaviours that challenge.
• Experience managing 3:1, 4:1 or 5:1 care packages.
• Experience with safeguarding and PBS strategies.
• Experience supervising or mentoring other care staff.

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality, person-centred care and support.
• Lead and support colleagues during shifts.
• Support effective staffing within high-acuity packages (3:1, 4:1, 5:1).
• Recognise early signs of behavioural escalation and de-escalate effectively.
