Job summary

Active Care Group invites applications for a Senior Support Worker at Loyd House, Northampton. You will lead ad-hoc shifts, mentor junior colleagues and ensure care that respects dignity and independence for each service user.

The role requires strong organisation, flexibility for multi-site work, and safeguarding elements such as an enhanced DBS. A Level 3 NVQ in Health & Social Care or progress toward is preferred.

Qualifications

• Strong organisational, time management, planning and communication skills.
• Flexible, professional, and positive approach to multi-site working.
• Level 3 NVQ in Health & Social Care or willingness to work towards.
• Proven reliability: full attendance and timekeeping.
• Team player and able to work independently.
• Self-confidence and ability to manage challenging situations.
• Driving Licence preferable.
• Address and respond to employee issues fairly and consistently.
• Enhanced DBS required.
• Disability Confident employer policy supports applicants with disabilities.

Responsibilities

• Lead ad-hoc shifts and mentor less experienced staff on the job.
• Ensure service users are treated with respect, dignity and independence.
• Adhere to Active Care Group policies and CQC requirements.
• Support service users at Loyd House and in multi-site settings as needed.
