Job summary

Active Care Group is seeking a Senior Support Worker for Loyd House in Northampton. The role covers 37.625 hours per week on a full‑time basis, with a rota that includes weekends and predominantly day shifts with possible night cover.

You will lead shifts, mentor colleagues and ensure the highest standard of care for service users. The post requires a Level 3 NVQ in Health & Social Care (or willingness to work towards it) and an Enhanced DBS.

Qualifications

• Level 3 NVQ in Health & Social Care required or willingness to work towards.
• Enhanced DBS required.
• Proven reliability in terms of full attendance and timekeeping.

Responsibilities

• Provide the highest standards of care and support to service users.
• Mentor and supervise less experienced staff through on‑the‑job training.
• Lead ad‑hoc shifts and work within a rota to support multi‑site coverage.
