Job summary

Active Care Group is recruiting a Deputy Manager for Loyd House in Northampton. This full-time role (40 hours) focuses on leading daily operations, supervising staff and ensuring compassionate, evidence-based care in line with CQC standards.

You will work closely with families, healthcare professionals and HR, supporting recruitment and staff development while maintaining a positive, person-centred culture. Salary is £32,474.66 FTE pro rata.

Qualifications

• Experience of residential care settings and leading a team.
• Willingness to pursue Level 4 Diploma or possess an equivalent qualification.
• Strong communication and people-management skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead day-to-day running of the service under the Registered Manager.
• Support recruitment, induction and staff retention.
• Ensure high-quality, person-centred care in line with policies and CQC.
• Collaborate with families, healthcare professionals and HR.
• Manage change and foster a positive working environment.
