Job summary

Aspris is hiring a Senior Residential Support Worker for our 2-bedded therapeutic Children’s Home in Ribble. You will lead shifts, mentor colleagues and help deliver safe, nurturing care for children aged 7-18 in a homely environment.

The role requires a full UK driving license and NVQ level 3 in residential childcare. You will support young people to build confidence, life skills and achieve positive outcomes, with a strong emphasis on safeguarding and progression.

Qualifications

Our Children's Home Ribble are looking for a dedicated, enthusiastic and compassionate Senior Support worker to join their 2-bedded therapeutic children's home. Our home in Ribble, prides itself on its homely, family-style environment, supporting young people from aged 7-18, helping to create and provide a safe, structured, fun and nurturing home. Each young person is supported to build resilience, overcome challenges and achieve their full potential. We are a warm and welcoming home and the daily living experiences and activities we provide are meaningful, memorable and designed to meet the needs of individual young people to ensure our young people's voices are heard and are at the frontoffer of all we do.

Due to the nature of this role, you will need a full UK driving license, along with your NVQ level 3 in residential childcare.

Working alongside the Registered Manager, you will lead shifts, support and mentor colleagues, and help ensure the highest standards of care are delivered at all times.

You will support our young people to build confidence, develop independence, and achieve positive outcomes, whether that's learning essential life skills, engaging in hobbies and activities, maintaining education attendance, or enjoying new experiences within their local community. No two days are the same, from supporting with daily routines and fun activities, to managing challenging situations and celebrating achievements.
