Hourly rate: £12.50 to £13.75
Full time: 40.25 hours per week - Dependent on qualifications and experience

Are you looking for a new challenge and the opportunity for career development? We have an exciting opportunity in Cardiff for an experienced Senior Support Worker to join our residential home in The Old Vicarage, Cardiff. You will support individuals with complex needs associated with autism.

You will assist in the day-to-day management of the home and help to improve the lives of the individuals we support. You will play a vital role in both the home and wider organization, acting as a positive role model to staff and our supported individuals.

A day in the life of a Senior Support Worker with Orbis Education and Care involves:

• Acting as shift leader
• Ensuring service standards are maintained
• Participating in the on-call rota
• Reporting and evidence gathering activities
• Working in partnership with internal and external stakeholders
• Participating in assessment, development, and review of support and care plans
• Promoting and celebrating the home's achievements

To be a successful Senior Support Worker with Orbis Education and Care, you will need:

• Experience in a support environment
• QCF Level 3 qualification
• Knowledge of statutory regulations
• Lead by example and act as a positive role model
• Ability to understand and adhere to relevant safeguarding policies
• Good awareness of conducting health and safety risk assessments

Please note: This role involves regulated activity with adults and requires an enhanced DBS with barred list check.
