Are you a dedicated and passionate Mental Health Support Worker seeking flexibility between your home and work life? Would you like the opportunity to earn up to £26.76 per hour while working with and supported by an agency close to your residence?

We are actively seeking Mental Health Support Workers with at least six months of experience in a mental health care setting in the Cardiff area. This role offers the chance to enhance your skills and experience at a service that provides care, treatment, and rehabilitation for individuals meeting the following criteria:

  • Adults with severe and enduring mental illness requiring a low secure environment
  • Male and female mentally disordered offenders requiring a low secure environment
  • Women with mental health needs and personality disorders requiring a locked ward
Overview:
  • Location: Cardiff
  • Shifts: Days, Nights, and Weekends
  • Flexible agency work

The Role: What Will You Do as a Healthcare Support Worker
  • Require at least 6 months UK experience within an acute mental health setting
  • Support trained nurses in delivering direct patient care with excellent team support from Sisters and a dedicated unit manager
  • Provide therapeutic care and support, including observing, monitoring, and recording patient conditions, and treating each person with dignity, compassion, and honesty
The Candidate: What You'll Need
  • At least 6 months recent and relevant experience within an acute mental health setting
  • Practical Manual Handling & BILD Accredited TMVA training
  • UK Resident and right to work in the UK
  • Driving Licence and own vehicle (mandatory)
  • Registration with Social Care Wales
