Job summary

Keys Group is seeking a Senior Support Worker for Brecon, LD3. The role involves day-to-day support, leading a team of Support Workers, and ensuring high-quality care per care plans. You will promote community activities, report accurately, and liaise with health professionals and families.

About Bryn Awel:

We provide residential support for 7 adults with Learning Disabilities and Mental Health needs. We encourage and motivate each person we support to feel good about themselves. As a Senior Support Worker, you will be involved in the day-to-day support and routine of the people within the service including:

• Managing a team of Support Workers
• Providing high standards of care and support for people we support, in line with care and support plans
• Encourage good community relationships by promoting a variety of activities
• Accurately report, record and maintain records as required and working to care plans
• Liaise with health professionals and their families
• Complete supervisions and audits
• To ensure that all duties undertaken by reporting staff are performed to required standards, and that all such staff contribute in a positive manner to provide a happy, efficient and homely atmosphere within the Home.
