Job summary

Keys Care is seeking a Senior Support Worker to oversee daily care for adults with complex needs in Wales. You will lead a team of Support Workers, ensure high-quality care per care plans, and promote activities to support independence. Strong communication with health professionals and families is required.

Qualifications

  • NVQ / QCF Level 3 in Health & Social Care required.
  • Experience supporting people with Mental Health needs, Autism, Learning Disabilities or Acquired Brain Injuries.
  • Strong teamwork and documentation skills.

Responsibilities

  • Manage a team of Support Workers and oversee day-to-day activities.
  • Provide high-standard care in line with individual care plans.
  • Encourage community engagement through varied activities.
  • Accurately report, record and maintain records as required.
  • Liaise with health professionals and family members.
  • Complete supervisions and audits to ensure quality standards.
  • Ensure staff duties meet required standards and promote a positive home atmosphere.

  • Managing a team of Support Workers

  • Liaise with health professionals and their families
  • Complete supervisions and audits
  • To ensure that all duties undertaken by reporting staff are performed to required standards, and that all such staff contribute in a positive manner to provide a happy,efficientand homely atmosphere within the Home.
