A leading group of independent residential children’s homes and schools for young people with Autism Spectrum Condition (ASC) and associated learning difficulties; all staff contribute to the provision of a supportive, caring, learning environment.
Our homes are located in Heanor and Ilkeston, Derbyshire.
Candidates must be qualified with a Level 3 Diploma in Residential Childcare for the Senior Support Worker role. Having a range of life skills and experience is vital, with LD or SEBD residential experience being a significant advantage.
Holding a current valid driving licence and the right to work in the UK is essential.
All successful candidates will be expected to demonstrate a commitment to safeguarding and the wellbeing of our young people and participate in all activities with them.
A combination of early shifts, late shifts, and full days with regular sleep-in duties. The role includes alternate weekends and bank holidays.
Based on full-time hours of 39 per week. The salary does not include sleep-in payments, which are at a rate of £40 per sleep, potentially adding an additional £2,080 per year on average.
