Due to ongoing success, FitzRoy is recruiting for an enhanced senior support worker in the Nottinghamshire area. The ideal candidate will have experience with complex support needs and mental health conditions. Support in our services may involve behaviors of concern or a forensic background. Individuals may be supported in community settings under care and treatment orders or sections of the Mental Health Act.

You will work with service users to help them live fulfilling and happy lives while maintaining independence. Your role will involve enabling them to develop positive relationships and be valued as equal members of their local community, supporting their rehabilitation.

This position involves supporting the management in the daily operations of a specialist complex service supporting 11 service users. It offers a fantastic opportunity to join a dedicated staff team with strong leadership. We provide person-centered support and seek individuals who are ready for a challenge, can use their initiative, think creatively, and are passionate and motivated.

You will act as a role model for excellent practice, serve as the senior contact in the absence of the Manager, and support tasks that assist the management team.

You will collaborate with staff, internal and external stakeholders, professionals, and the local community to achieve objectives, following best practice guidelines and FitzRoy values.

Provide clear direction and guidance to develop the team to support people in leading full, active lives as community members.

Perform support worker activities to high standards and contribute to a culture of open communication, information sharing, and constructive feedback with colleagues and management.
