Job summary

Cygnet Group are seeking a confident Senior Support Worker (Days) to join The Old Vicarage, a specialist residential service supporting adults with learning disabilities. You will work full-time, 40 hours per week, days only, delivering person-centred support and working with a compassionate, skilled team.

You will help residents with daily living, behavioural support, and welfare needs, while contributing to a safe, respectful, and supportive home environment.

Responsibilities

• Support management and staff in day-to-day running of the service.
• Allocate duties effectively and safely for all team members.
• Provide enhanced care with flexible learning approaches for residents.
• Offer guidance and encouragement through physical and emotional support.
• Learn about individuals’ needs and respond in the most appropriate way.
• Assist with medical and welfare needs and report as required.
• Safeguard residents and maintain a safe, clean environment.
