Cheshire East Council is recruiting for two permanent Senior Support Worker roles in Crewe within the Care4CE Mental Health Reablement team. The posts are 37 hours per week, Monday to Friday 9am–5pm with occasional early evenings, based at Delamere House and covering the south of Cheshire East.

An exciting opportunity has become available to work within the Care4CE Mental Health Reablement team in Crewe. There are 2 permanent FTE (37hr) Grade 6 Senior Support Worker positions. The team primarily work Monday to Friday 9am – 5pm, although some early evenings may be required. The service is based at Delamere House in Crewe but covers the south of Cheshire East.
The Mental Health Reablement team provides short term (up to 6 weeks) practical support to adults who are experiencing mental health issues and/or drug and alcohol related issues. The successful candidate will be expected to have a caseload and provide one-to-one support in the community. This may include support with debt management/budgeting, housing issues, education, employment, social inclusion, leisure activities, etc. The support focuses on coping techniques, increasing self-esteem and confidence, promoting social inclusion and goal setting to support people to maximise their independence.
