Job summary

Wiltshire Council is seeking a Senior Support Worker in the English countryside to lead and supervise a team delivering home-based care. The role offers hybrid working with on-site office hours and community-based duties, supporting customers after hospital discharge.

You will monitor and guide Support Workers, helping to co-develop personalised reablement plans with occupational therapists, and progress through NVQ apprenticeships.

Qualifications

  • NVQ Level 3 or equivalent substantial experience in a related field.
  • Interest in pursuing a relevant qualification.

Responsibilities

  • Monitor, support and supervise our dedicated Support Workers to ensure the delivery of high-standard services for customers at home.
  • Work on a rotating schedule, 7 am to 10 pm, 365 days a year, to provide continuous support.

Salary:£32,578 - £34,811 per annum (plus 10% unsocial hours plussage)

As aSeniorSupport Worker,you will monitor, support, and supervise our dedicated Support Workers, ensuring the delivery of the highest standard of services for ourvaluedcustomers.

We would like to welcome candidates with either an NVQ Level3or equivalent substantial experience in a related fieldto apply, and we also welcome those who showaninterested inpursuing a relevant qualification.
