Stockton-on-Tees Borough Council seeks a Reablement Support Worker to help individuals regain independence by supporting them in their own homes on a short-term basis after illness or injury.

As a Reablement Support Worker, you'll support people in their own homes on a short-term basis following illness, injury, or a change in circumstances. Your role will focus on helping individuals rebuild their confidence, develop everyday living skills, and regain their independence.
This is a truly rewarding opportunity to help people achieve goals they may not have thought possible, from preparing meals and managing personal care to rebuilding confidence in daily routines.
No two days are the same. You'll work alongside a supportive and dedicated team, helping people achieve positive outcomes while developing your own skills and career.
I love working for the Reablement Service. I get to help people get back their independence and see the satisfaction that gives them. We are a short-term service so have a regular change of people which means there is a variety, and no two days are the same. We are a friendly, close-knit team and the Council really encourages training and development. I have progressed in my career from Home Care Worker to Reablement Support Worker and then to Assistant Coordinator.
I foundallof the staff friendly, caring and comforting. With their help, it has put me on the road to recovery. I will miss them when they leave and would like to pass on my gratitude to everyone concerned that has helped me to live independently.

This is a part time role of 25 hours per week and the actual salary for the role is £17,856 - £18,722.
(appointments will be made at Grade E-F, dependent on relevant care experience)
