Voyage Care in Basingstoke is seeking a Senior Support Worker to lead our residential service and help people gain more independence. You will support the Manager with day-to-day supervision and management of the service, including allocating shifts and supervising staff.

This role requires experience as a Senior Support Worker and a Level 3 in Health & Social Care, with readiness to handle behaviours of distress, mental health conditions, autism, and trauma. Excellent care values are essential.

Qualifications

• Level 3 in Health & Social Care required.
• Experience as Senior Support Worker essential.
• Experience with complex needs including distress, mental health, autism or trauma.

Senior Support Worker – Basingstoke - £14.25 per hour 37.5 hours a week

Typical Shifts are: Monday - Sunday working 07:30 - 21.30 including working weekends on a 3 week rota

We’re currently searching for a fantastic Senior Support Worker to join us in leading our residential service in Basingstoke. This service is a welcoming and friendly environment with a dynamic team that supports a fantastic group of people!

As a Senior Support Worker with us you'll be helping people to gain more independence in their daily lives, whilst assisting the Manager with the day-to-day supervision and management of the service. You could be allocating shifts, booking in training, inducting new colleagues, supporting with supervision’s, ordering medication and ensuring the people we support are supported to manage their finances. You’ll never lose sight of why you choose to do this, as our Seniors are still at the heart of providing day-to-day support.

We’re interested in our Senior Support Workers having both the right experience and the right values. This is why at this service our Seniors should have previous experience as a Senior Support Worker and a Level 3 in Health & Social Care as well as experience working with individuals requiring enhanced support, including behaviour's of distress, mental health conditions, acquired brain injury, autism, forensic histories and people who have experienced trauma.
