Senior Support Worker (6976) Accrington, England

Salary: GBP 30,888 per annum

A fantastic new job opportunity has arisen for a committed Senior Care Assistant to work in an exceptional care home based in the Accrington, Lancashire area. You will be working for one of the UK's leading healthcare providers.

The care home, located in the heart of Accrington, offers a warm and welcoming environment where residents can live life to the fullest. Care is tailored to meet individual needs, whether for residential, dementia, or respite care.

To be considered for this position, you must hold an NVQ Level 3 in Health & Social Care.

As a Senior Care Assistant, your key duties include:

1. Managing the care team within the home.
2. Ensuring that care staff adhere to CQC guidelines while providing exceptional care to residents.
3. Promoting and delivering high standards of care and supervision.
4. Instructing less experienced staff to enable their full contribution to the care provided within the home.

The following skills and experience are preferred and beneficial:

• Excellent communication and written skills.
• Previous experience working within an elderly care setting.
• Self-motivated, resilient, and well-organized.
• Team player but able to work independently.
• Dependable, able to work well under pressure, and flexible to meet the needs of the home.
• Previous supervisory experience within a care/nursing home setting and experience working with the elderly.

The successful Senior Care Assistant will receive an excellent salary of £13.50 per hour, totaling £30,888 per annum. This is a permanent full-time role for 44 hours a week on night shifts. In return for your hard work and commitment, you will receive the following benefits:
