Job summary

Mint Velvet in Glasgow is seeking a Senior Style Advisor / Supervisor for 8 hours per week in-store. You will support the Store Manager, maintain a welcoming store environment, and deliver exceptional customer service.

You should love fashion, be inspirational to customers and colleagues, and wear the Mint Velvet style. The role includes a discretionary quarterly bonus and generous staff discounts.

Qualifications

• Previous experience as a key holder in a fashion retail store.
• Excellent customer service.
• Able to work as part of a team and lead by example.

Responsibilities

• Support the Store Manager in opening & closing, stock control and maintaining a beautiful environment for the team and customers.
• Demonstrate understanding of Mint Velvet's market position and act on opportunities or concerns.
• Ensure exceptional standards of customer service, including in Personal Styling offering.
• Achieve visual delivery that reflects Mint Velvet guidelines and enhances the customer journey.
• Be proactive in personal development and improving performance.
• Follow policies and run a robust operation.

The Role

• Support the Store Manager in all aspects of running the store, including opening & closing, stock control and maintaining a beautiful environment for your team and customers at all times
• Demonstrate outstanding understanding of Mint Velvet's market position and competitors and use this to generate and act on any ideas, opportunities or concerns that may impact your store
• Ensure exceptional standards of customer service, including in our Personal Styling offering
• Achieve exceptional visual delivery which reflects the Mint Velvet visual guidelines; creating a sanctuary of style and service that enhances the customer journey and overall experience in-store
• Be proactive in driving your own personal development and continually improving your performance
• Follow and adhere to all policies and procedures and run a sound and robust operation
