Job summary

Mint Velvet at Bluewater – John Lewis is seeking a Senior Style Advisor/ Supervisor (34 hours) to support store leadership and deliver exceptional customer experiences in a fashion-forward environment.

The role is based in retail at Bluewater with responsibilities including opening/closing, stock control, and maintaining a high standard of service and styling guidance. A strong visual and personal styling focus is essential.

Responsibilities

• Support the Store Manager in opening & closing, stock control and store presentation
• Understand Mint Velvet's market position to identify opportunities or concerns
• Maintain exceptional customer service, including Personal Styling
• Deliver visual standards reflecting Mint Velvet style to enhance the customer journey
• Drive personal development and continually improve performance
• Follow policies and run a sound, robust operation

The Role

• Support the Store Manager in all aspects of running the store, including opening & closing, stock control and maintaining a beautiful environment for your team and customers at all times
• Demonstrate outstanding understanding of Mint Velvet’s market position and competitors and use this to generate and act on any ideas, opportunities or concerns that may impact your store
• Ensure exceptional standards of customer service, including in our Personal Styling offering
• Achieve exceptional visual delivery which reflects the Mint Velvet visual guidelines; creating a sanctuary of style and service that enhances the customer journey and overall experience in-store
• Be proactive in driving your own personal development and continually improving your performance
• Follow and adhere to all policies and procedures and run a sound and robust operation
