Job summary

Mint Velvet in Guildford is seeking a part-time sales ambassador for 20 hours per week (Thu, Fri & Sat) to support store operations and guest experiences. You will maintain a welcoming environment, drive sales and uphold Mint Velvet’s style and standards.

The ideal candidate loves fashion, delivers outstanding customer service and thrives in a team, inspiring others with passion and a polished, knowledgeable approach to styling.

Qualifications

• Previous experience as a key holder in fashion retail.
• Love of fashion and excellent customer service.
• Able to work as part of a team and live Mint Velvet style.

Responsibilities

• Support the Store Manager in opening and closing, stock control and maintaining a beautiful store environment.
• Demonstrate strong understanding of Mint Velvet’s market position and act on opportunities or concerns.
• Ensure exceptional customer service, including Personal Styling offerings.
• Achieve exceptional visual delivery reflecting Mint Velvet guidelines and enhance the customer journey.
• Be proactive in personal development and adhere to policies and procedures.

The Role

• Support the Store Manager in all aspects of running the store, including opening & closing, stock control and maintaining a beautiful environment for your team and customers at all times
• Demonstrate outstanding understanding of Mint Velvet’s market position and competitors and use this to generate and act on any ideas, opportunities or concerns that may impact your store
• Ensure exceptional standards of customer service, including in our Personal Styling offering
• Achieve exceptional visual delivery which reflects the Mint Velvet visual guidelines; creating a sanctuary of style and service that enhances the customer journey and overall experience in-store
• Be proactive in driving your own personal development and continually improving your performance
• Follow and adhere to all policies and procedures and run a sound and robust operation
