Job summary

Mint Velvet in Cardiff is seeking a Senior Style Advisor / Supervisor for 22 hours per week. You will support the Store Manager with opening and closing, stock control, and maintaining an exceptional store environment for customers and your team.

Demonstrating a strong understanding of Mint Velvet’s market position, you will lead by example in customer service and Personal Styling, drive visual standards, and continuously develop your own skills within a fast-growing fashion retail brand.

Qualifications

• Ideal: previous experience as a key holder in a fashion retail store
• Love of fashion and ability to embody Mint Velvet style
• Strong customer service mindset and teamwork

Responsibilities

• Assist Store Manager with opening/closing, stock control and maintaining a stylish store environment
• Understand Mint Velvet’s market position and act on opportunities or concerns impacting the store
• Deliver exceptional customer service and Personal Styling
• Ensure visuals reflect Mint Velvet guidelines to enhance the customer journey
• Be proactive in personal development and performance improvement
• Adhere to policies and run a robust operation

The Role

• Support the Store Manager in all aspects of running the store, including opening & closing, stock control and maintaining a beautiful environment for your team and customers at all times
• Demonstrate outstanding understanding of Mint Velvet’s market position and competitors and use this to generate and act on any ideas, opportunities or concerns that may impact your store
• Ensure exceptional standards of customer service, including in our Personal Styling offering
• Achieve exceptional visual delivery which reflects the Mint Velvet visual guidelines; creating a sanctuary of style and service that enhances the customer journey and overall experience in-store
• Be proactive in driving your own personal development and continually improving your performance
• Follow and adhere to all policies and procedures and run a sound and robust operation
