Job summary

FM Conway is seeking an experienced Structures Team Leader to join our Consultancy division in London. This senior role leads a team of designers and inspectors, drives growth, and ensures profitable delivery of highway structures projects.

You will own the performance of the structures discipline, balance technical excellence with resource planning, and develop relationships with clients and partners across FM Conway to generate new opportunities.

Qualifications

• IStructE member or ICE Chartered with senior leadership experience.
• Proven track record in developing and leading teams of engineers or inspectors.
• Experience generating new business and managing commercial performance of a technical discipline.

Responsibilities

• Lead, develop and performance-manage a team of structural designers and inspectors.
• Oversee highway structures projects—design, planning, delivery within budgets and timescales.
• Own monthly programme and financial performance, forecasting, utilisation and project margins.
• Build and maintain client relationships, identify opportunities for repeat work and cross-sell.
• Manage budgets, fee recovery and profitability for the structures discipline.
• Collaborate across FM Conway to deliver integrated, commercially successful solutions.
