Job summary

FM Conway is seeking a Structures Team Leader to join our Consultancy division in London. This senior role leads designers and inspectors focused on highway structures, setting technical and commercial direction, and driving profitable growth.

You will own performance, growth and resource planning, while developing client relationships across FM Conway and external providers to secure new commissions and repeat work.

Qualifications

• Member of IStructE or ICE Chartered Engineer status required.
• Proven track record leading, developing and performance-managing a team.
• Experience generating new business and managing budgets, forecasting and profitability.

Responsibilities

• Lead a team of structural designers and inspectors, planning resources and development.
• Own monthly programme and financial performance, including project margins and utilisation.
• Build trusted client relationships and identify opportunities for repeat work and cross-selling.
• Prepare reports, drawings and cost estimates in line with local procedures.
• Oversee delivery of highway structures projects, ensuring safety, schedules and quality.
