Job summary

Kier Group in Norwich is seeking a Senior Engineer to join the Kier Design team, focusing on civil and geotechnical projects in the water sector. The role is based in Norwich with 40 hours per week and some flexibility.

We cannot sponsor certificates for this role. You will work within the Structures & Geotechnical team, supporting infrastructure projects for Local Authorities, National Highways, Network Rail and water sector clients like Anglian Water, Southern Water and Thames Water.

Qualifications

• Incorporated member of a relevant professional institution (IEng) or EngTech with experience.
• Able to collaborate across teams, clients and stakeholders.
• Trusted and reliable, delivering what you promise while acting safely and ethically.
• Focused and disciplined in delivering for clients.

Responsibilities

• Lead delivery of complex Civil & Structural/MEICA services in Temporary and Permanent Works.
• Permanent Works design for structures, highways, geotechnics and infrastructure as part of an integrated design and construct offering.
• Support tender and bid activities including outline design schemes and feasibility studies.
• Provide Design Management advice and coordination as Lead Designer on multidisciplinary projects.
• Fulfil Job Leader responsibilities including fee proposals, design deliverables, and managing financials.
