Job summary

Black & Veatch Corporation seeks a Senior Structural Engineer to lead the design and delivery of critical nuclear infrastructure across the UK and internationally. Based in Glasgow or London, you will work in multidisciplinary teams on new-build, plant upgrades and related projects.

Experience in reinforced concrete, steel structures and safety-related facilities is essential, with strong communication and client interfacing skills. UK work-rights are required.

Qualifications

Degree in Civil or Structural Engineering, or equivalent.
Typically five years' relevant structural or civil engineering experience.
Must have legal right to work in the United Kingdom.

Responsibilities

Lead structural design of nuclear and safety-critical facilities.
Develop concepts from feasibility through detailed design.
Deliver reinforced concrete and steel designs for buildings and plant structures.
Produce calculations, reports, specifications and documentation.
Coordinate with mechanical, civil, electrical and instrumentation teams.
Mentor and guide developing engineers.
