Job summary

Vincera Consulting Ltd. in Birmingham seeks a Structural Engineer or Senior Engineer to join the expanding Structural Design Team. You will take a lead role delivering a diverse portfolio across education, healthcare, residential, and urban regeneration sectors in the UK.

Qualifications

Proven track record delivering structural projects for building structures.
Ability to lead on a day-to-day basis with minimal supervision.

Responsibilities

Lead the structural design and delivery of projects from conception to completion.
Undertake structural analysis and design of low-rise framed structures in steel, concrete, timber and masonry.
Carry out structural assessments, refurbishment design and alterations to existing structures, including heritage structures.
Manage day-to-day project coordination and represent the Client at meetings with external design team members and Clients.
Provide line-management and technical guidance to early career team members.
Produce clear and accurate reports, specifications and design calculations (hand and software).
Collaborate with in-house structural technicians and BIM teams and manage workloads, programmes and budgets.
