Vincera Consulting Ltd. in Birmingham seeks a Structural Engineer or Senior Engineer to join the expanding Structural Design Team. You will take a lead role delivering a diverse portfolio across education, healthcare, residential, and urban regeneration sectors in the UK.

Responsibilities

• Lead the structural design and delivery of projects from conception to completion.
• Undertake structural analysis and design of low-rise framed structures in steel, concrete, timber and masonry.
• Carry out structural assessments, refurbishment design and alterations to existing structures, including heritage structures.
• Manage day-to-day project coordination and represent the Client at meetings with external design team members and Clients.
• Provide line-management and technical guidance to early career team members.
• Produce clear and accurate reports, specifications and design calculations (hand and software).
• Collaborate with in-house structural technicians and BIM teams and manage workloads, programmes and budgets.

Are you a Structural Engineer who would like to work for an award winning Engineering Consultancy in Birmingham? Are you seeking a role where you will truly feel valued in both your capacity as a Structural Engineer as well as an Employee? Are you at either Structural Engineer or Senior Engineer Level (or approaching)?

Myclient is a award winning, multi-disciplined Engineering Consultancy. Their Birmingham office seeks a Structural Engineer or Senior StructuralEngineer to join their expanding Structural Design Team. You will take a lead role in the delivery of a wide range of projects, some of which over the years have been highly significant to the Birmingham and Midlands region. At present the Team are delivering a diverse portfolio of projects across multiple sectors within Construction within the UK; education, healthcare, residential, urban regeneration.

About You

Successful applicants will have a proven track record in the delivery of structural engineering projects for the building structures sector. You will be able to take the lead on a project on a day-to-day basis, under minimal supervision; representing the Client at external meetings also. This position can be tailored to suit an individuals level experience and seniority,offering excellent scope for career progression and development!

Key Duties

• Lead the structural design and delivery of projects from conception to completion
• Undertake structural analysis and design of low-rise framed structures in steel, concrete, timber and masonry
• Carry out structural assessments, refurbishment design and alterations to existing structures, including those of a heritage nature
• manage day-to-day project co-ordination and represent the Client at meetings with external design team members and Clients
• Provide line-management and technical guidance to those in an early stage of their career who are support you within the Team
• Produce clear and accurate reports, specifications and design calculations (hand and software)
• Embrace working closely with in-house structural technicians and BIM Teams
• Manage your workload effectively whilst supporting project programmes, budgets and standards
