Job summary
Crouch Waterfall, part of the Vulcain Engineering Group, is seeking a Senior Civil & Structural Engineer to deliver innovative structural solutions for UK building projects. You will lead multidisciplinary teams, coordinate design across commercial, residential, education, healthcare and industrial schemes, and mentor junior engineers.
The role offers a clear path toward Chartered status with dedicated mentoring, flexible hybrid working in Bristol, and a strong benefits package.
Qualifications
- Civil/Structural Engineering degree or equivalent.
- Proven design experience in structures, preferably from a design consultancy.
- Experience across buildings: commercial, residential, education, healthcare.
- Ability to manage technical scopes and mentor engineers.
- Chartered status (ICE or IStructE) or working towards.
- Strong communication and client-facing skills.
- UK right to work and local Bristol area.
Responsibilities
- Lead and coordinate technical delivery across a range of projects.
- Mentor engineers, graduates and technicians.
- Review work to ensure quality and contribute to complex design elements.
- Carry out site inspections and prepare technical reports.
- Support client relationships and liaise with stakeholders.
- Contribute to proposals and identify opportunities.
