Job summary

Ceto Talent is seeking a Senior Structural Engineer to join our buildings team in Birmingham on a hybrid basis, delivering education, aviation and defence projects. You will lead design from concept to detail and mentor junior engineers.

The ideal candidate is Chartered or working towards it, has consultancy experience in building structures, and is skilled in steel design with exposure to concrete and timber. You will build strong client relationships and contribute to project delivery.

Qualifications

• Chartered Engineer or working towards Chartered status.
• Experience delivering building structures in a consultancy.
• Strong design experience across steel structures; exposure to concrete and timber.
• Ability to lead structural design from concept through to detail.

Responsibilities

• Lead structural engineering projects across a varied buildings portfolio.
• Mentor developing engineers and contribute to project delivery.
• Develop practical and efficient engineering solutions in collaboration with clients and multidisciplinary teams.
