Job summary

Blueprint Recruitment Solutions Ltd is seeking a Senior Structural Engineer to join a well-established international multidisciplinary consultancy in Central London with a hybrid work model. You will work on high-profile projects across commercial, healthcare, and data centre sectors.

The role requires a Civil/Structural Engineering degree, chartership status (or in progress), and experience with steel, concrete, timber, and masonry.

Qualifications

• Degree in Civil or Structural Engineering (BEng/MEng or equivalent).
• Working towards Chartership or Chartered status.
• Experience designing with steel, concrete, timber, and masonry.
• Knowledge of Eurocodes, British Standards, and UK Building Regulations.
• Proficiency in structural analysis and design software such as Tekla Structural Designer, Tedds, ETABS, Robot, or similar.
• Experience using AutoCAD and familiarity with BIM processes.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Full right to work in the UK.

Responsibilities

• Undertake structural analysis and design using materials including steel, reinforced concrete, timber, and masonry.
• Produce engineering calculations, reports, specifications, and technical drawings.
• Assist in delivering projects from feasibility to construction.
• Liaise with clients, architects, contractors, and design team members.
• Attend project meetings and site inspections as required.
• Review drawings and designs for technical accuracy and compliance.
• Support preparation of tender and construction documentation.
• Work collaboratively across multidisciplinary teams.
• Mentor junior engineers.
• Ensure projects are delivered on time and within budget.

About the Role:

We are seeking an experienced Senior Structural Engineer to join a well-established, International Multidisciplinary Consultancy. The selected candidate will have the flexibility to work on a hybrid basis from our client's Central London office. You will work on technically challenging and high-profile projects across the Commercial, Healthcare and Data Centre sectors.
