About the job Senior Structural Engineer

Responsibilities:

• Delivering design work and construction site support for major infrastructure projects.
• Assisting and mentoring team members to support their technical and professional growth.
• Performing analysis and design using software such as Tekla, TEDDS, IDEA StatiCA and produce hand calculations.
• Preparing CDM activities, basis of design documents, scopes of work, technical reports, and coordinating inter-discipline designs.

What You'll Need:

• A degree (BEng or MEng) in Structural Engineering.
• Experience with BIM packages.
• Strong technical design skills using British and international standards, or Eurocodes.
• Proven experience in preparing bids and proposals and building good client relationships.
• Experience designing structures in reinforced concrete and steel.
• Knowledge of seismic, dynamic, and extreme environmental loading (highly beneficial).
