Job summary

ASDA is seeking a General Store Manager in the Tunbridge Wells area to oversee day-to-day operations across Non-Food, Online and Customer departments. You will drive availability, minimise waste and shrink, and ensure the store runs efficiently, safely and in full compliance.

Collaborating with the Operations Manager and department managers, you will deliver consistent standards, improve delivery flow and stock routines, and embed a culture of coaching, ownership and customer focus on the shop

Qualifications

• Experience leading large teams in a multi-department retail environment.
• Proven track record in improving availability, reducing waste and shrink.
• Strong coaching and development of store colleagues.

Responsibilities

• Lead planning and execution of day-to-day store operations across departments.
• Drive productivity, standards and customer experience across the store.
• Coach and develop the leadership team to deliver consistent shopfloor results.
• Ensure compliance, health-and-safety and loss-prevention practices are followed.
