Job summary

Asda in Cardiff seeks a General Store Manager to lead planning and execution of day-to-day operations across Non-Food, Online and Customer departments. You will maximise availability, minimise waste and shrink, and ensure the Superstore runs safely and efficiently.

You will work with an Operations Manager and department managers to deliver consistent standards, boost productivity and maintain customer-ready stores. You’ll foster an empowering, values-driven culture on the shop floor.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as General Store Manager or Operations Manager in large-format retail.
• Strong track record of improving availability, reducing waste and shrink.
• Experience leading diverse teams and driving customer-focused standards.
