Job summary

Novax Recruitment Ltd. is seeking an experienced Estimator/Senior Estimator for structural steelwork based in North Yorkshire. You will lead estimating activities from enquiry through tender submission, collaborating with engineering, procurement, fabrication and project delivery teams.

The role offers a permanent, full-time office-based arrangement with opportunities to influence tender strategy and project outcomes across the UK.

Qualifications

• Experience as a Steelwork Estimator or Senior Estimator in structural steelwork, fabrication, or related construction environment.
• Strong ability to interpret engineering drawings, specifications and tender documents.
• Solid commercial and numerical skills with attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Prepare detailed cost estimates for materials, labour, plant, fabrication, installation and subcontract packages.
• Review drawings, specifications and tender documentation to ensure accurate pricing.
• Develop professional quotations and tender submissions.
• Manage multiple enquiries and tender deadlines to ensure on-time submissions.
• Collaborate with procurement, engineering, fabrication and project teams to develop bids.
