Job summary

Vattenfall is seeking a Senior Stakeholder Engagement Manager for the Ramsgate offshore wind cluster. You will lead engagement and communications strategies, acting as the main liaison with local communities and stakeholders to create lasting social value.

You will drive cross-site coordination with UK teams, align with regional and international stakeholders, and support education initiatives while ensuring permits and licenses stay aligned with community interests.

Qualifications

• Degree in Communications, Psychology, Community or International Development or related field.
• Solid experience with stakeholder engagement in major infrastructure or sustainability projects.
• Background in designing and delivering communications and outreach strategies.
• Public speaking and clear writing with strong digital/content creation skills.
• Collaborative attitude and ability to energize teams.

Responsibilities

• Design and coordinate the Stakeholder Engagement & Communications Strategy for Ramsgate offshore wind sites.
• Lead the UK portfolio engagement strategy across sites in Barrow-in-Furness and Aberdeen.
• Be the main contact for local communities and stakeholders in Ramsgate.
• Organize and attend community engagement activities—site visits, school talks, local events.
• Collaborate with site management, Consenting, and Regional Support teams.
• Champion internal participation in external engagement and team-building around social impact.
• Share site experiences to align with regional and international communications colleagues.
• Maintain relationships and community programmes including benefit funds and education initiatives.
