Job summary

Ramboll Group is seeking a Senior Project Manager with business development experience to lead onshore wind projects in the UK and Ireland. You will command Owners Engineering activities, manage multi-disciplinary teams, and drive client relationships while supporting new business opportunities.

Flexible location with some site visits and travel to client sites as needed. The role offers autonomy across the project lifecycle from origination to construction, with offices in Edinburgh, Glasgow,

Qualifications

• Significant experience in project managing the technical scopes of onshore wind farms including design work, procurement, development and construction management.
• Strong ability to build long-term relationships with clients.
• Experience in business development and engaging clients and prospective clients.
• Self-starter with ability to balance competing demands across projects, clients and business development.

Responsibilities

• Project manage onshore wind scopes including Owners Engineering in the UK market (potentially wider geographies).
• Lead client projects covering origination, feasibility, development, construction and repowering.
• Lead multidisciplinary project teams to deliver across civil, electrical, environmental and procurement scopes.
• Coordinate tender proposals with technical inputs from experts and junior consultants to ensure commercial attractiveness.
• Support Head of Business Development with sales activities in the UK onshore market, generating leads and managing existing clients.
