Job summary

Ørsted UK is seeking a Contract Manager to own live supplier contracts from demand planning through to close-out, proactively managing contractual and commercial risks for a portfolio of offshore wind assets.

You will oversee rights, KPIs, obligations and performance metrics, lead negotiations, and drive commercial optimisation. This is a collaborative role requiring strong stakeholder management, analytical thinking, and a commitment to safety and value creation.

Qualifications

• Substantial experience in contract management, claims management, or commercial negotiations.
• Excellent verbal and written communication with evidence-based recommendations.
• Commercial and operational insight to improve asset performance through contractual levers.

Responsibilities

• Develop strong relationships with suppliers and internal colleagues to mutual success through contractual obligations.
• Provide clear contractual advice and recommendations to internal stakeholders.
• Proactively manage risk and seek commercial optimisation opportunities from contracts.
• Manage rights, KPIs, obligations and performance metrics, supporting contract strategy and risk mitigation.
• End-to-end management of contracts including pipeline demand, scope facilitation, commercial levers, performance reviews, disputes and close-out.
• Collaborate with Commercial and Operational teams to optimise asset profitability (EBITDA and NPV).
• Contribute to contract management frameworks, governance, tools, and best practices.
• Mentor colleagues and promote a culture of collaboration, integrity, and safety.
