Job summary

Dynatrace is seeking an experienced Lead Site Reliability Engineer with deep Dynatrace expertise to join a major technology and platform engineering programme in Colchester. The role focuses on ownership of Dynatrace, implementing observability end-to-end, and acting as a technical SME in complex production environments.

Qualifications

• Experience with Dynatrace implementation, configuration and ownership.
• Proficiency in designing end-to-end observability/monitoring solutions.
• Strong SRE/production engineering background.
• Experience configuring instrumentation, metrics, alerting, and monitoring.
• Familiarity with OneAgent, ActiveGate, distributed tracing, and monitoring of apps/infrastructure.
• Cloud experience across AWS, Azure and/or GCP.
• Exposure to CI/CD and automation; containerisation beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Lead SRE and observability engineering across large-scale environments.
• Own the observability strategy from implementation through production troubleshooting.
• Mentor and support other engineers as a SME in Dynatrace and SRE practices.
