Job summary

Dynatrace LLC in Leicester seeks an experienced Lead Site Reliability Engineer with deep Dynatrace expertise to join a major technology and platform engineering programme. The role focuses on ownership of Dynatrace, instrumentation, and production observability across large-scale environments.

You will operate as a technical SME, mentoring engineers, designing end-to-end monitoring solutions, and guiding incident response and reliability improvements.

Qualifications

• Extensive Dynatrace implementation and admin experience in production
• End-to-end observability solution design and deployment experience
• Strong SRE and production engineering background
• Experience configuring instrumentation, metrics, alerting and monitoring
• Exposure to OneAgent, ActiveGate, tracing and monitor systems
• Experience troubleshooting complex production issues with observability tools
• Cloud experience across AWS/Azure/GCP
• CI/CD, automation and modern software delivery
• Kubernetes/containerisation experience is beneficial
• Ability to lead/mentor engineers as SME

Responsibilities

• Lead SRE/observability engineering initiatives across large-scale environments
• Act as SME and mentor engineers on Dynatrace and observability
• Collaborate with platform teams to implement production monitoring solutions
• Drive end-to-end instrumentation, dashboards and alerting strategies
