Job summary

Dynatrace LLC is seeking an experienced Lead Site Reliability Engineer with deep Dynatrace expertise to join a major technology and platform engineering programme in Manchester. You will own Dynatrace implementations, drive observability strategy and act as a technical SME in complex production environments.

The role requires hands-on Dynatrace administration, SRE background, and strong collaboration across cloud platforms (AWS/Azure/GCP).

Qualifications

• Hands-on Dynatrace implementation and administration
• End-to-end observability/monitoring design
• Strong SRE and production engineering background
• Instrumentation, metrics, alerting and monitoring
• Knowledge of OneAgent, ActiveGate, tracing and infra/app monitoring
• Troubleshooting complex production issues with observability tooling
• Cloud experience across AWS, Azure and GCP
• CI/CD, automation and modern software delivery
• Kubernetes/containerisation experience beneficial
• Operate as SME and mentor other engineers

Responsibilities

• Take a leading role in SRE and observability engineering across large-scale environments
• Design, implement and own Dynatrace-based monitoring strategies
• Lead and mentor engineering teams in observability best practices
• Collaborate with cloud/platform teams on telemetry and incident response
