Job summary

Children and Family Health Devon (CFHD) is seeking a Senior Speech and Language Therapist to provide specialist support for children and young people within the Experts at Hand service in Barnstaple. You will work within a multidisciplinary team, delivering targeted interventions and training to professionals and families.

The post holder will manage caseloads, supervise junior staff, participate in student placements and contribute to service development and outcomes measurement.

Qualifications

• Eligibility to practice as a Speech and Language Therapist with HCPC registration.
• Specialist postgraduate training in paediatric communication disorders.

Responsibilities

• Manage a caseload of children and young people with SLCN using evidence-based practice.
• Provide clinical supervision to less experienced SLTs.
• Coordinate clinic and day-to-day caseload with Clinical Team Manager.
• Support student placements and audit outcomes.
