Job summary

Imagine Independence is seeking a compassionate Senior Specialist Support Worker to join our East Lancashire team in Burnley. You’ll lead a team providing daily living support, personal care, and community inclusion for individuals with autism, brain injuries, and complex needs.

You will develop and review person-centred support, risk and PBS plans, liaise with families and professionals, and participate in MDT meetings. The role involves rolling rota shifts, evenings, weekends and sleep-ins.

• Strong leadership, problem-solving, and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead and mentor a team of Specialist Support Workers
• Develop and review person-centred support, risk, and PBS plans
• Liaise with families and professionals
• Attend team and multi-disciplinary meetings
• Work on a rolling rota including evenings, alternate weekends, and sleep-ins
• Cover shifts and participate in the on-call rota as needed
