Job summary

Imagine Independence is seeking a compassionate Senior Specialist Support Worker to join our East Lancashire team in Burnley. You will lead a team supporting individuals with complex needs, including autism and brain injuries, delivering daily living support and personal care to help people live independently in the community.

You will develop and review person‑centred plans, work with families and professionals, and participate in multi‑disciplinary meetings while covering a rolling rota that

• Experience or willingness to learn about supporting people with complex needs.
• Strong leadership, problem‑solving, and communication skills.
• A values‑driven approach to care and support.

Responsibilities

• Lead and mentor a team of Specialist Support Workers.
• Develop and review person‑centred support, risk, and PBS plans.
• Liaise with families and professionals.
• Attend team and multi‑disciplinary meetings.
• Work on a rolling rota including evenings, alternate weekends, and sleep‑ins.
• Cover shifts and participate in the on‑call rota as needed.
