Job summary

Autism Initiatives Group of Companies in Blackpool is seeking a Senior Support Worker to lead a team and support individuals to live as independently as possible. The role involves supervising staff, supporting with daily tasks, and deputising for the Service Manager as needed.

You will work flexibly across day shifts, weekends and occasional sleeps, contributing to a values-based organisation that prioritises wellbeing, training, and career progression.

Qualifications

• Demonstrate best practice and act as a role model for staff.
• Excellent communication, caring, flexible and resilient.
• Willingness to cover day shifts, weekends and occasional sleeps.
• Ability to deputise for the Service Manager when required.

Responsibilities

• Support the Service Manager to ensure smooth service operation.
• Supervise a team of Support Workers and provide guidance.
• Help with housework duties and promote independence for people we support.
